Speak up! This is your only chance to stand up for what’s right!” Killian kept yelling at the elders while the guards dragged him.

The guards held him before me, each of them holding one arm.

“What’s wrong Killian? You’re surprised they didn’t defend you? If you are, please don’t be. You see, these old men are just like you. They’re scared. Yes, they’re scared of what I’ll do to them. But do you know the only difference between you and them? They know when to quit, but you don’t!” I yelled. You can go ahead and kill him.”

“Laura, I know you won’t do something as despicable as killing someone.
