I sat in my office, the weight of regrets heavy on my shoulders. My heart ached with sorrow as I thought about the moments I had ignored Roxanne, consumed by the demands of the pack's work and our fight. If only I had been there for her, if only I had listened to my wolf, she wouldn't be in this dire state now.
