Chapter 41

Tyler’s POV

As we entered the prison I started to look around at how dark and gloomy it was. This place looked like the Tower of London. I mean, seriously, it had a moat with a draw bridge. I felt like I stepped back 400 or so years. As we walked through the dark, damp area I noticed how bare it was. A few guards but no prisoners, “Why aren’t there more people?” I side eyed Dalton and saw him look around like he hadn’t noticed, “Um, well, I told you. We kill them so we don’t get a lot of people in here worthy of a prison stay… or a death sentence.” I bit down on my bottom lip and nodded my head slowly.
