Rechel Hedly's P O V 

He let my lips go and moved back a little while staring into my eyes with his beautiful, Alpha red eyes. I have never seen something so beautiful and yet scary like this before. 

My heart is still stuck in those eyes, and I am trying to control my heartbeat. I don't know why, but I felt so different when he kissed me. The way his lips touched mine, the way his hands were all over my body, and everything about him made me feel different, so beautiful, nice, and good. I used to feel disgusted and hate him so much before.

His beautiful hands interlinked with mine as he pulled me closer again, making my heart skip a beat, and I tried my hardest not to let that show on my face. His beautiful Alpha's eyes returned to their normal dark blue colour as he stared into my eyes and said with a smile, "I think, we should go down!". 

I paused for a second in confusion, and then I shook my head, remembering Tina. I can't let Tina know any of these things. His eyes narrowed in confusion, and he asked, "What's wrong?". 

"I... I don't think I should walk down to the hall with you," I replied with lots of the things running through my head. I don't want to let Tina see me walking with Damon. One, he is married, and two, he always attracts attention, and I don't want anyone to know that I know him or think that I am with him. 

"What? Why?!" He snapped, and his eyes turned darkly angry as they bore into mine. I can clearly tell that he is pissed, even though I can't understand why. I took a sigh, looked at him in confusion, and asked, "Why do you want me to come with you while your wife is down there? I don't want anyone to know that I am with you, especially my friends.". 

"Your friends?!" he asked in surprise, filled with irritation, ignoring the part about his wife. But I ignored that and nodded my head in confusion, not understanding why he is even angry or surprised now.

"You know people in this place?!".

"Yes.... or else, why will I be even here?" I asked him back in confusion because I don't even know what is making him angry at this point.

His face hardened, and his voice came out in anger, "So your friend with Lucas?!".

I was surprised by this but shook my head and replied, "What?! NO! I am Tina's friend!".

His eyes widen for a second before going back to their unaffected look, but I can tell something is wrong and his head is running around something wild with that little reaction in his face. I hate how well I can read him, even though he keeps his poker face after all these years. 

He looked in my eyes, getting his thoughts together, and said, "Fine!" and turned around and walked out of the room. I stood there dumb, not understanding what just happened?! Or did he ask that because he knew Tina? that's impossible! She can never be friends with someone like him. I took a long sigh and walked out of the room, as I knew Tina would be looking for me. 

I walked down to the stage and saw Damon talking with Tina and Lucas. I was not that surprised, but I was just scared and still walked toward her, trying to see what they were talking about. 

"Congratulations on your wedding and getting the man that you love," He was talking with Tina, and my eyes widen as I see him smile and hug her. Tina was smiling at him and nodding her head as if she knew him. My eyes widen as I stare at their interaction, and his eyes land on me after all those smiles. 

Rose, Damon's wife, is standing beside him with a smile, like she is one of the innocent little girls, but only I know the truth. She is not. I forced the bluge down my throat as the fear crept up to my heart and tried to walk back, thinking she would recognize me just like Damon did. 

I tried to get off the stage and hide myself, but before I could, Tina's small hand grabbed mine, pulling me closer to her. My breath hitch as I stare at both Damon and Rose, whose eyes widen. I gulped and gave them a smile, when Tina got busy introducing them, "This is Damon Logan, the Alpha of the Moonlight Pack, this is Rose, his beautiful sweetheart. He is also the richest man in the country!" My heart stings in pain as I stare at them. Tina didn't see that and continued with a smile. I gulped and nodded my head at her, as I didn't want Tina to know that we knew about the relationship between us. 

Rose's lips widen in a smirk as she stares at me, but her eyes are showing a different emotion that I can't quite understand, but she turned her eyes to Tina and asked with a forced smile, "And she is?!".

"She is my best friend, Rechel Hedly." Tina introduced me proudly with smile, not observing Rose's reaction or the air in the situation.

I shook my head a little, giving up on the tiniest hope and letting the moongoddes decide my fate tonight. For some unknown reason, Rose always hated me and waited for each opportunity to hurt me.

Damon's eyes didn't leave mine, and his lips curled into a smirk. My heart stopped for a second, as the fear clung to me. I know something bad is going on in his head, something evil, and I know for a fact that I am going to suffer. Before he could open his mouth, I heard a beautiful, angilic and yet manly voice "Congratulations to the beautiful couple!". 

I turned my eyes to him, and my heart skipped a beat as I stared at the angle.... I mean, a man who is like an angle in the devil's world. It is none other than Devid Brown, the one and only kind soul in this whole group of bullies. I don't understand how he could be with this bunch of bullies who hurt others.

He was my savier and my crush, and he still makes my heart skip a beat, even after all these years. He walked up to Tina and gave her and Lucas a hug. 

My eyes turned to the other 2 monsters with him. They did the same and gave a smile to both Lucas and Tina. I just stood there, trying my best to control my heart. 

I took a sigh and raised my head to look at Devid again, but this time, he turned his eyes to me. His lips widen with a smile, saying, "Little girl, is that you?" I was so surprised that he could still recognize me. He took a step and got closer, raising his hand to my head and patting like before, with a smile, and said, "I missed you".

My eyes widen, my face turns red in shyness, and my heart skips a beat again.

Before I could open my mouth to thank him, Damon grabbed his hand, took a step closer, and whispered in his dark voice, "Stop touching her! She is fucking mine!".

I turned my eyes to him and then back at everyone, who didn't seem to understand anything, but thank God, no one heard that. I was only one hear it. My heart skipped a beat, and my face turned red upon hearing his words.

Even though I hate him, this mate bond is making me react like this! Yes, the mate bond is the reason! I... I hate him, and if he is not my mate, then my heart could have never beat fast for someone like him, a monster. 

He took his hand back and just gave a nod, walking back. Damon turned to look at me and whispered in my ear, "You will fucking pay for this, Rechel! Don't you remember the rule, 'Never let a man touch you!'".

My eyes widen as I remember all those crazy rules that I should follow. I nodded my head and gulped in fear, not wanting to make him angry. Tian saw this and asked in confusion, "Do you guys know each other before?".

"Yes, she is from my pack," Damon said dryly, looking at me. I gulped in fear and nodded my head, trying to make Tina believe. She was even more confused and asked "B... but Rechel doesn't have a pack", 

"She does; you can ask her about that," Damon replied, turning to look at me so I could explain everything. I sighed and nodded my head, saying, "I ran away from his pack when I was younger!".

Tina's face instantly froze as she was scared for me, I didn't want to hurt her, so I forced a smile and replied, "You don't have to worry. He doesn't want to give any of those punishments as long as I go back to the pack and apologize for running away!". 

Then she turned to look at Damon, who nodded his head at her and then back at me. I reassured her with a sigh. Even though I portray him as some kind of good person, but I know he is exactly the opposite. 

She let out a sigh of relief and said, "Please do take care of my friend; she is such a nice girl, and she won't do anything like this again!".

He nodded his head like he was doing something great, but only I know how cruel and evil he can be. 

"Rechel, do you want to go back to his pack? As long as you don't want to, you can come to my pack, and I can accept you as an Alpha!" Lucas's voice came in like a beautiful way out. My eyes widen in shock as I turn to see him looking at me and Damon suspiciously.

I was about to refuse him in fear of Damon, but he jumped on Lucas and asked, "What the fuck do you mean by that?! My pack is the best to pack in the country, and everyone is happy in there! Did you mean that you can give her the best life that my pack can't give?!". 

"No... no, I didn't mean it like that! She... She is going back after so long and people might make her feel bad like she is a traitor so I ... I just wanted to help her like a brother!" He replied, looking at Damon in fear.

I gulped as I satre at the power he held over people. Even the Alpha of another Pack is scared of him.
