Third Person's POV
Aiden slowly opened the door and then peeked out. His eyes scanned the room. When he didn't see the Alpha, Aiden slowly stepped into the room. The Omega spots a stack of clothes neatly folded at the end of the bed. He brings the shirt to his nose and smiles when it smells like the Alpha.
Aiden eagerly pulled the Alpha’s clothes on but frowned when he realized how large the sweatpants were. It seems no matter how tight he pulled the string, they still wanted to slide right off his hips. The shirt was just like the others. It hung to his knees, but he didn't mind. At least if his pants fell down, the shirt would cover his ass.
Aiden was happy with how he looked. Even though the clothes were too big, they were better than anything he'd ever owned. Aiden looked around the room again, looking for the Alpha. He listened for a moment but couldn't hear anything. Aiden slowly walked to the closet and peeked in. He frowned when he didn't see the Alpha. The Omega turned, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on the sliding glass door that led to the balcony. Aiden crosses the room and slides the door open before peeking his head out.
With a sad sigh, the Omega closes the door and turns around. Aiden's chest aches as he slowly walks to the bed. The Omega sits down on the edge of the bed. His head hangs low, his shoulders slumped, and his eyes filled with tears.
Realization sets in that the Alpha went to breakfast without him. He began to wonder if he had heard the Alpha wrong. He could have sworn the Alpha meant to take him, but he must have been wrong.
‘Did I do something wrong? Did I make him mad? Is this my punishment for looking him in the eyes? Or maybe he's upset that I fell on him. I shouldn't be so clumsy!’ The Omega thought as tears rolled down his cheeks.
Why does it hurt like this at the thought of making him mad? Why does it hurt like this, knowing that he's punishing me? It never felt like this when Alpha Maxwell punished me. It never hurt like this when he beat me. Why does this feel worse than any beating I received from Alpha Maxwell? Why does it feel like my heart is being torn in half?’ The Omega wondered as tears fell faster.
“I'm so stupid! Why do I always mess everything up? I can't believe I already made him mad,” The Omega began to cry harder.
Aiden's stomach growled as it ground on itself, reminding the Omega how hungry he was. It hurts even more knowing the Alpha isn't allowing him to eat as punishment.
“Why can't I not screw up, just once,” The Omega whispered.
….
Thaddeus was excited to see Aiden. He carefully balanced the tray on his lap as he wheeled down the hall. He smiled as he looked down at all the food. Grace really outdid herself for Aiden this morning.
She wasn't sure what he liked, so she made some of everything. There was so much food on the tray, and he was surprised he managed to get it up here without any of it falling off.
Thaddeus' smile widened at the thought of sitting on the balcony on this nice sunny morning and eating breakfast with his mate. A little fresh air would do his mate good.
Thaddeus pushes the door open and wheels himself inside. His smile drops when he sees Aiden sitting on the bed with his face in his hands. He can see the Omega crying, and the Alpha's chest tightens.
When the door shuts behind the Alpha, Aiden lifts his head. The Alpha sets the tray on the table next to the door before approaching his mate. Aiden quickly begins wiping his face, but it's too late; Thaddeus already saw the tears.
Aiden looked nervous. He kept glancing between his lap and Thaddeus. The Omega played with his fingers, and the Alpha realized this must be his nervous habit.
“What's wrong?”
The Alpha was confused. What could have possibly happened while he was gone? There were no other scents in the room, so no one had entered since he was gone. What happened? the Alpha wondered.
When the Omega made no attempt to answer, the Alpha moved closer.
“Hey, you can talk to me. What's wrong?” Thaddeus asked as softly as he could.
Aiden lifted his beautiful face and glanced at the Alpha before looking at his lap again. A moment later, he lifted his head again and this time, his eyes continued moving up until they landed on the Alpha’s eyes.
The Alpha's breath caught in his throat when the Omega made eye contact with him, but he quickly looked away.
The Alpha wished Aiden would look into his eyes again. He wanted to spend the rest of his life looking into those eyes. He wanted to wake up every morning and look into those eyes.
“Y-you said we were g-going downstairs for b-breakfast… I, I couldn't find you a-anywhere when I came out of the bathroom… I… I thought y-you were mad at me and w-went to have breakfast without me. I, I thought I was being punished.”
Thaddeus's stomach dropped, and his heart clenched. It felt like someone punched him in the stomach. The tears that began filling Aiden’s eyes as he spoke made a lump form in the Alpha's throat. He struggled to keep his own tears back, and questions ran through his mind, ‘Why would he ever think I would eat without him? Why would he ever think I would punish him?’
Knowing Aiden thought he was going to punish him by starving him was a tough pill for the Alpha to swallow.
Thaddeus moved a little closer and slowly reached up, gently wiping his tears away. The Alpha was surprised and thankful when the Omega didn't flinch.
Thaddeus cupped his cheek and caressed it with his thumb. The Alpha wished Aiden would look into his eyes, but he kept them cast down.
“I could never be mad at you, and I would never do that to you! I just- I saw how weak you were, so I thought it'd be better if I brought breakfast to you.” The Alpha’s heart skipped a beat when the Omega's eyes snapped to his.
The Alpha's heart beat faster as Aiden looked into his eyes. The Omega felt like he couldn't look away, as though the Alpha's eyes held him captive. He felt a warmth spreading through his chest and something fluttering in his stomach.
He felt a strong pull to the Alpha. His touch was comforting. How could that be?
The tingles seemed to spread through his body, and for a moment, he thought he felt Winter stir.
The Alpha loved it when his mate closed his eyes and leaned into his hand. He never wanted this moment to end. But their little moment was disturbed by a loud growl.
Aiden's eyes snapped open, and a blush quickly spread across his face. Thaddeus chuckled as he backed up and reached his hand out.
“Let's get some food in you,”
Thaddeus grabbed the tray, setting it on his lap before motioning Aiden to follow him onto the balcony.
Thaddeus positioned himself at the table and then set the tray down. He looked up to see Aiden standing just inside the doorway. He looked nervous, uncertain if he could come out.
Thaddeus's eyes go to Aiden's lip when he begins chewing on it, and the Alpha once again wants to nibble on it.
Thaddeus cleared his throat and then gestured to the chair next to him.
Aiden slowly stepped onto the balcony, stepping outside for the first time since he had escaped. The fresh air smelled good, and the sun was warm on his skin.
Aiden slowly approached the small table, unsure of what to do. The scent of food was mouth-watering, and everything on the tray looked delicious. Aiden began chewing on his lip as he looked at the food and wondered if the Alpha was really going to let him eat some of it. He found it hard to believe the Alpha would allow him to eat something so delicious. The Alpha nudged his chin toward the chair, and Aiden timidly sat down.
“We didn't know what you liked, so we have a little bit of everything,” Thaddeus said as he began loading a plate and then set it in front of Aiden.
Aiden's eyes widen when he sees all the food the Alpha has placed in front of him. He looks at the Alpha to see if this is a joke. When Aiden looks up, the Alpha is loading food onto his own plate.
Thaddeus glanced up and saw the Omega looking at him as if he wasn't sure he was allowed to eat or maybe looking for permission.
“That's yours. Go ahead and dig in.”
As Thaddeus continued making his plate, he could see the Omega looking between him and his plate.
Aiden was still afraid this was some sick joke. He was afraid that as soon as he brought a bite to his mouth, the Alpha would smack it out of his hand or beat him.
Aiden carefully reached for the fork, nervously glancing at the Alpha, afraid to eat.
“Go ahead. It's ok,” Thaddeus said softly.
Somehow, that was enough reassurance for Omega, and he took a piece of omelette onto his fork and slowly brought it to his mouth. Aiden's mouth closed around the fork, and his eyes closed as all the wonderful flavors exploded in his mouth. A soft little moan slips past his lips as he slowly chews.
The eggs were still warm, The cheese was gooey, and the onions, peppers, and ham were delicious!
The moan brought Thaddeus's eyes to the Omega. He watched him slowly chew with his eyes closed. When the Omega opened his eyes and looked at the Alpha, Thaddeus quickly looked down.
The Omega carefully studied Thaddeus, trying to see if he was upset that he took a bite. But when he saw the Alpha was paying him no attention, he brought the fork to his plate and took another bite.
Thaddeus looked up just in time to see Aiden's lips wrapping around the fork. The Omega's eyes slowly closed, and a soft moan slipped past his lips. Zeus pushed forward, peering out at the Omega lustfully. Aiden's tongue darts out and slowly licks his lips, causing the Alpha to strain in his pants.
Thaddeus reached down and adjusted himself. ‘Goddess! This little thing has no idea what he is doing to us!’ he thought, trying to control himself and Zeus.
Aiden couldn't believe how good the omelette was. He has made them many times, but he's never been able to eat them. No wonder there was never a single bite left for scraps on anyone's plate when they were served omelettes.
The Omega shoveled bite after bite into his mouth so fast Thaddeus had to slow him down.
Aiden pauses when he spots the waffle toppings. The Omega's eyes light up at the chance to taste a warm, fluffy waffle. He wonders what each topping will taste like and has a hard time deciding which one to choose. The Omega's eyes twinkle as he begins piling his waffle sky high. Strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, and sweet strawberry sauce drizzled on top had the Omega drooling.
Aiden licked his lips as he eagerly cut into the waffle. His eyes twinkled as he bounced in his seat. The Alpha had to suppress a laugh. He thought the Omega looked adorable.
Lips wrapped around the fork again, and Aiden's eyes closed as he moaned. This moan was much louder and sweeter than the others. The Alpha was instantly straining against his pants, and he mentally cursed in his head. Thaddeus wasn't sure he would survive eating a meal with his little Omega moaning like that. The images Zeus was showing him weren't helping in the least bit.
“Little one, if you keep making those noises, I'm going to be eating you for breakfast,” Thaddeus's voice was so thick as he spoke.
Aiden froze, his cheeks instantly filled with heat as they turned red. The Omega wished to disappear, and the sound of the Alpha's laugh only made it worse.
“So cute!” The Alpha said before taking a bite. Aiden's heart skipped a beat. ‘Did he call me cute?

Third Person's POV Thaddeus pushed all the plates aside after they were done eating. He was hoping to finally get some answers and find out who did this to him. The Alpha looked at Aiden, who looked content as he leaned back in his chair and licked his lips. His hands rested on his stomach as he let out a little hum. Thaddeus fought the urge to scoop his mate into his arms and squeeze him. ‘He was just too adorable!’ The Alpha thought. “Aiden, can you tell me who did this to you?” The Omega instantly tensed and nervously looked down at his lap as he began playing with his fingers. Thaddeus hated that someone hurt the Omega and made him afraid to talk to his own mate. “I know you are afraid to talk to me. I know you don't know me, but I promise I will never hurt you! You're my mate, sweetheart. I would never hurt you! I care about you… I need to know what happened. I need to know who did this to you. When I said I won't let anyone hurt you again, I meant it. You don't have t
Third Person's POV As Thaddeus approached the training field, he heard Marcus yelling at two warriors as he corrected their stances. The training field is packed with six teams plus their Captain. Each captain is responsible for 50 warriors. With six teams, that's 300 warriors on the training field, and Marcus is their Commander. As Commander of Thaddeus's army, every Captain and warrior is under Marcus’s command. Marcus walks up and down the center aisle, watching each team go through the movements and making sure they're doing them correctly. He nods at a captain helping a struggling Delta 2 through his movements. As Marcus walks a little further, he nods at his friend Roy, another Captain helping a dominant Delta 3. The commander makes it to the end of the line and then turns before commanding everyone to shift to their wolves and proceed with the second part of training. Marcus makes his way back towards the front and smiles when he sees Thaddeus waiting for him. He wa
Third Person's POV Aiden was sound asleep when Thaddeus entered the room, so the Alpha slipped into the bathroom for a quick shower. When the alpha came out of the bathroom, he found Aiden still asleep. The alpha made his way around the bed and stopped in front of Aiden. The Omega was lying in his usual position, face down near the edge of the bed, with his face in the perfect position for the Alpha to look at. The sheets were tangled around his body, and his foot was sticking out. He was adorable! Thaddeus raised his hand and lightly brushed the hair away from his forehead before trailing his fingers down the side of his face and gently cupping his cheek. His thumb lightly stroked the Omega's cheek, and his heart beat faster when his blue eyes fluttered open. The Alpha's heart skipped a beat when those beautiful blue eyes landed on him. The Alpha felt he could live the rest of his life looking into those eyes. They were so magical. They held so many emotions and caused the Alpha t
Third Person's POV Aiden wasn't sure what was going on or why the Alpha suddenly seemed angry. He was shocked when the Alpha yelled at him. The Omega flinched and then wrapped his arms around himself. His eyes stung as they filled with tears, unsure of what he had done wrong. The Omega wasn't sure why it hurt so much, knowing he had made the Alpha angry, or why it hurt even more when he yelled at him. It was nothing like a beating, but somehow, it hurt just the same. Aiden was shocked when the Alpha shifted right there in the dining room. He wasn't sure what was more shocking, the fact that the Alpha shifted inside, or the fact that his wolf was using all four legs… Or maybe it was how massive he was. The Omega had never seen a wolf so big before. Not even his old Alpha was that big. As big and scary as his wolf was, he couldn't help but notice how beautiful he was. He was so black and shiny, and his fur looked so soft and perfect. The Omega was surprised the Alpha wolf had fit
Third Person's POV Aiden held the strange girl, who somehow felt familiar until she stopped crying. He glanced toward the tree line, looking for Thaddeus and wondering where he had gone. The front door swinging open draws Aiden's attention away from Thaddeus. The Omega saw a frantic Xander slide to a stop on the porch. His eyes move to the female in Aiden's arms, and the Beta freezes. Xander's body stiffened as he stared at the girl in his Luna's arms. The Beta just spent the last few minutes searching the pack house for Aiden. When he came out of the kitchen, the Omega was nowhere to be found. He checked the bathroom and nothing. He checked his room, and it was empty. The Beta’s stomach dropped at the thought that the Omega might have gone outside after he was told not to. Xander ran down the stairs faster than he ever had. Not only did the Omega ignore a direct order from the Alpha, but she was in his arms. “Mate!” Oz said as he pressed forward, staring at his mate and hatin
Third Person's POV Without the Alpha, Aiden wasn't sure what to do. He stood awkwardly by the front door, hoping the Alpha would come back soon. He didn't miss the sad expression on the Alpha wolf's face as he walked away. He wasn't sure what it meant or why he looked so sad. He wasn't sure why it affected him the way it did, but it caused the Omega's heart to ache. Aiden glanced out the window, searching for the Alpha, but he didn't see him. The Omega's thoughts go back to his sister. He wondered why he couldn't remember her or anything about his past. What about their parents? Their father, mother, or dad? Are they alive? Did something happen to them? These thoughts raced through the Omega's head but ceased at the sound of voices outside. The Omega jumped and looked out the window next to the door again. His eyes immediately land on pack members walking past, heading toward the tree line. Aiden looked around and wondered if he should be standing somewhere else besides near the
Third Person's POV It's been a month since Aiden ran away. Jackson and his father have been looking for Aiden but haven't found any signs of him. His last known location was the cliff where he jumped into the water. His body hasn't yet been found, nor have there been any signs that he survived. Jackson refuses to believe he's dead. He ignores the rumors when they say there's no way he survived that fall in his condition. Maxwell was surprised the Omega was even able to walk out of there. He knew he got the Omega good that day and expected him to still be unconscious in the morning. The two idiots that fucked up and let Aiden get away were killed for their incompetence. Maxwell was furious and made an example out of them. As far as Jackson goes, he didn't realize how much Aiden meant to him until the Omega was gone. He didn't realize how much he wanted him until he ran away. Now, Aiden is all Jackson can think about. “He’s mine, and I want him back!” Jackson said as he fell
Third Person's POV As Zeus ran through the woods, words Thaddeus hadn't heard in so long went through his head. Words that were so distant from the years that had passed were suddenly loud again. Thaddeus could see the disgusted look on his first mate's face as he looked at his legs. Zeus slows down when he comes out of the tree line, and the river comes into view. The Alpha wolf walks to the river and takes a drink before lying down. Zeus lays his head on his paws and whimpers. The Alpha wolf's heart aches when he pictures his mate holding that girl. Thaddeus tries not to think of their happy little reunion, but it's pointless; he sees Aiden's face in her hands. Thaddeus tries not to think of the mate he thought he had and just lost, but Aiden is all he can think of. A twig snapping has Zeus standing up and growling in its direction. The Alpha relaxed when Marcus stepped out from behind a tree. “Whoa, Alpha! Down killer. It's just me,” Marcus joked as he approached the Alpha a
